UCPA (Union nationale des Centre sportifs de Plein Air) is a non-profit organization created in 1965. It is the only French association which is made up of members only.

It is governed by public govemment, by the Health department, as a Sport and Youth department, as a territorial collectivity. It is supported as a service to youth and to general education in France, and by the main out-doors sportive federations.
